Yellow Heavy-Cut Solid Buffing Compound for Stone, Plastic Mold-Line Removal and Non-Ferrous Metals
Made with high-purity abrasives and quality lubricating grease through a controlled high-temperature fusion process.
It combines strong cutting action with initial brightening for coarse and medium polishing stages.
Typical uses include rough stone polishing, rapid removal of plastic parting lines, and scratch or burr removal on zinc, aluminum and copper alloys.
Its thin residue is easier to clean before plating, coating or the next finishing step.
• Combines strong cutting and brightening to remove surface defects while improving gloss uniformity.
• Suitable for rough stone polishing and rapid removal of parting or mold lines from plastic parts.
• Covers zinc, aluminum and copper alloys, with selected models also specified for steel, stainless steel, titanium or plastics.
• SBC-01 through SBC-11 provide different gloss, cut, oiliness and material combinations for process-specific selection.
• Leaves a relatively thin, easy-to-clean residue that minimizes interference with plating, coating and final polishing.
• Can be paired with treated sisal, bias sisal, multi-layer stitched cotton or airway buffs, subject to sample validation.
• Suitable for manual finishing and automated mass production, with custom bar weight and packaging labels available.
Product Certification
The Yellow Buffing Compound series is designed for coarse and medium polishing operations that require efficient defect removal while preserving the ability to refine the surface. Its abrasive, grease and binder system is fused and homogenized into a dense solid bar. With the correct grade and application rate, it can address rough stone marks, plastic parting lines, and scratches or burrs on zinc, aluminum and copper alloys.
This is not a single universal formula. The range includes SBC-01 through SBC-11, with different combinations of material compatibility, gloss, cut and oiliness. Sales and production teams should identify the substrate, incoming defect and target finish before selecting the model and buff. Steel, stainless steel, titanium and plastic applications must use only the models specifically listed for those materials.
For factories, contract polishers and distributors, the value lies in a more efficient coarse-to-medium transition, consistent surfaces and easier cleanup. Final quality still depends on preparation, buff stiffness, surface speed, contact pressure, compound feed and workpiece temperature, so production approval should follow a same-material trial.

How to Use
1. Record the substrate, incoming sanding marks/scratches/burrs, target gloss and downstream process.
2. Select candidate SBC grades from the material check marks and gloss/cut/oiliness ratings. Stainless steel, titanium and plastics require a specifically listed model.
3. Choose the corresponding sisal, stitched cotton or airway buff, and keep a clean dedicated wheel for each compound.
4. Confirm wheel dimensions, rated speed, guarding and local exhaust. Wear suitable eye/face, respiratory and hearing protection.
5. Charge the rotating buff lightly and briefly while standing clear of its plane. Begin with light pressure and keep the workpiece moving.
6. Monitor cut, temperature, residue and surface pattern, then adjust loading frequency and pressure gradually to avoid overheating, glazing or edge rounding.
7. Validate cleanup and compatibility with plating, coating or final polishing on a matching sample before fixing production settings. Isolate energy before maintenance.
