240-Grit 200 × 75 mm Non-Woven Flap Wheel for Heavy Cleanup and Medium Brushing of Large Sheet and Door/Window Profiles
240-Grit 200 × 75 mm Non-Woven Flap Wheel is an industrial non-woven flap wheel for wide-area heavy cleanup combining coarse grinding with medium brushing. A 75 mm wide non-woven working layer and red reinforced center plate target heavy rust, deep scratches and combined coarse-to-medium brushing on large sheet and door/window profiles.
Its non-woven flaps provide conformable contact, open swarf evacuation and a consistent pattern for controlled batch finishing.
Selection must consider size, grit, density/hardness, abrasive, center construction, machine interface and maximum operating speed.
• Working layer: resin-bonded non-woven nylon abrasive flaps arranged radially around a center.
• Thickened non-woven flaps with a red reinforced center plate support the wide wheel body.
• Thickened 200 mm wheel with 75 mm wide contact face and reinforced center.
• Gaps between flaps promote ventilation, heat release and swarf evacuation, while the open web helps reduce metal-debris loading.
• Process position: wide-area heavy cleanup combining coarse grinding with medium brushing.
• Main tasks: heavy rust, deep scratches and broad-area defect cleanup with a continuous medium-brushed pattern.
• The 75 mm face increases contact and coverage per pass for batch large-sheet and door/window-profile work.
Product Certification
The 240-Grit 200 × 75 mm Non-Woven Flap Wheel uses a wide, thick 75 mm working layer and red reinforced center plate for large sheet, door/window profiles and batch lines. The broad face increases coverage and abrasive contact, while Weike positions it for heavy rust and deep-scratch cleanup combined with a coarse-to-medium brushed transition. It targets high-power bench equipment, subject to bore, flange and speed confirmation.
A non-woven flap wheel maintains contact through multiple flexible abrasive flaps. As the flaps wear, fresh abrasive is gradually exposed, supporting a more stable cut and pattern in cleaning, scratch blending, brushing and satin finishing. The open construction promotes heat and swarf release, but stock removal, temperature, life and roughness still depend on mineral, grit, density, surface speed, pressure and feed rate.
The 240-grit and heavy-rust/deep-scratch wording is page-specific; keep trial conditions and do not promise fixed removal on every material. Obtain the factory specification and approve a sample on the production substrate, incoming defect and machine before final publication.

Features & Advantages
• Conformable non-woven flaps balance cutting with fine finishing on contours.
• The open web and inter-flap gaps promote cooling, swarf evacuation and loading resistance.
• The 75 mm face and reinforced plate target continuous heavy cleanup and allow evaluation of combined coarse grinding and medium brushing.
• Continuous abrasive exposure supports a more consistent batch finish.
• Multiple sizes, grits and attachments cover stationary, portable and dedicated-machine applications.
• Color, center and appearance are identifiers only and do not replace grit, density or technical specifications.
Applications
• heavy-rust and deep-scratch cleanup plus coarse-to-medium brushing transition on large stainless, aluminum-alloy and iron sheet or profiles
• Rust/oxide cleanup, machining-mark blending, brushing and satin finishing of stainless steel, aluminum profiles, iron and general metals, selected by product-page position and trial
• Hardware, kitchen/bathroom products, door/window profiles, tubes, decorative sheet, small automotive parts and precision die castings
• Batch surface conditioning requiring a uniform pattern, lower loading and contour following
• Industrial distribution, machine matching, OEM specifications and replacement programs
• Not recommended on precision dimensions, soft coatings or mirror-finished parts without a trial
How to Use
1. Confirm the substrate, defect, incoming grit and target pattern. Test on scrap or a hidden area first.
2. Inspect the flaps, bore/shank and center for moisture, cracks, looseness, deformation or chunk loss. Confirm size and attachment compatibility.
3. Obtain the maximum operating speed from the label or technical sheet. The machine no-load speed must not exceed the wheel rating. Do not use the wheel while the rating is unknown.
4. Fit flanges, spacers, work rest and guard as specified by the machine. Isolate energy before mounting and tightening. Follow any direction arrow.
5. Secure the workpiece and wear suitable eye/face, hand, hearing and respiratory protection. Maintain local exhaust and control sparks, dust and combustibles.
6. Run briefly without load while standing clear of the rotation plane. Start with light pressure, short dwell and stable feed. Do not use heavy pressure to compensate for the wrong grit or density.
7. Check cut, pattern, temperature, vibration and dimensional change in stages, then adjust pressure and feed gradually.
8. Stop immediately for abnormal vibration, damage, overheating, odor or a sharp performance drop. Wait for a complete stop and isolate energy before inspection, cleaning or replacement.
