100 × 13 × 16 mm Brown Nylon Fiber Polishing Wheel for Angle-Grinder Pretreatment of Deep Scratches, Weld Marks and Rust
The Brown wheel is positioned for harder, more aggressive cutting to refine deep scratches, weld marks, rust and rough surfaces.
This non-woven nylon abrasive wheel is positioned for coarse pretreatment, heavier-defect removal and surface leveling before fine finishing within cleaning, brushing, deburring, defect refinement or brightening workflows.
Selection must be based on size, grade, density/hardness, abrasive, machine interface and maximum operating speed—not color alone.
• Process position: coarse pretreatment, heavier-defect removal and surface leveling before fine finishing.
• Main tasks: deep scratches, weld marks, rust layers, heavy contamination and rough-surface refinement.
• More aggressive cutting can shorten pretreatment, while the open fiber structure helps reduce loading from heavy rust and contamination.
• Page wording such as no burning or scratching should be treated as risk reduction, not an unconditional guarantee; approve the result on a matching sample.
• The one-piece hub supports even loading, but edge work and local dwell must still be controlled to prevent over-cutting.
• The conformable non-woven structure is suitable for flats, curves and common contours.
• Use lighter pressure and test first on edges, thin sheet, hole edges and precision surfaces to avoid over-cutting or geometry change.
• Sample-led discussions can cover size, bore/flange, grade, density/hardness, abrasive, color, packaging, labeling and OEM requirements.
• Sample charge, MOQ, pack quantity, lead time and customization feasibility are subject to the formal quotation.
• Buyers should provide workpiece photos, material, incoming condition, target finish, machine model, no-load speed and monthly usage.
Product Certification
The Brown Nylon Fiber Polishing Wheel combines a 100 × 13 × 16 mm format with a one-piece injection-molded hub and is positioned by Weike as the more aggressive option among the 100 mm hubbed wheels. Its harder-abrasive description and three-dimensional web target deep scratches, weld marks, rust and heavy contamination while giving swarf space to escape. It suits pretreatment of steel structures, thicker stainless sheet and molds before a finer Red or Yellow finishing step.
The commercial value of a non-woven nylon abrasive wheel is its combination of cutting action, conformability and repeatable surface finish. The open web promotes swarf evacuation, while flexible contact can reduce the risk of deep gouging on contours compared with rigid wheels. Scratch pattern, heat and substrate removal still depend on mineral, grade, density, pressure, surface speed and dwell time.
Keep published facts separate from parameters awaiting confirmation. Higher hardness is a qualitative Weike description and must not be converted into a numeric hardness, grit or mineral specification; one-pass defect removal also requires testing. Do not promise fixed life, an absolutely scratch-free result, elimination of later polishing or suitability for every metal before written factory confirmation and sample approval.

Features & Advantages
• Non-woven nylon combines conformable contact with sustained abrasive action for controlled surface change.
• The open three-dimensional structure promotes swarf evacuation, reduces loading and supports a more uniform pattern.
• Aggressive cutting suits rust, weld marks and deep-line pretreatment, while the open web and one-piece hub combine swarf evacuation with stable load distribution.
• One wheel can reduce tool changes across flats, curves and common contours.
• Color helps shop-floor identification within this range but does not replace a technical grade or process card.
• Sample trials can compare cut rate, pattern, gloss, temperature, life and downstream processing.
Applications
• rust and weld-mark refinement on structural steel, coarse finishing of thicker stainless sheet, mold-surface leveling and pretreatment of heavily contaminated metal before fine polishing
• Surface cleaning, defect refinement, brushing/satin finishing or pre-polishing on stainless steel, aluminum, copper, steel and general metals, selected by product position and trial
• Hardware, kitchen/bathroom, door/window, small automotive, decorative, mold and metalworking projects
• Controlled finishing of flats, curves, edges and irregular contours
• Industrial distribution, sample development, OEM specifications and volume procurement
• Not recommended on fragile edges, precision dimensions, soft coatings or high-value finished surfaces without a trial
How to Use
1. Confirm the substrate, incoming defect and target finish. Test on scrap or a hidden area first.
2. Inspect the wheel for moisture, cracks, deformation, chunk loss or center damage. Confirm size and attachment compatibility.
3. Obtain the maximum operating speed from the label or technical sheet. The machine no-load speed must not exceed the wheel rating. Do not use the wheel while the rating is unknown.
4. Fit the specified flanges/spacers and guard. Isolate energy before mounting and tightening. If the wheel carries a direction arrow, install it accordingly.
5. Secure the workpiece and wear appropriate eye/face, hand, hearing and respiratory protection. Control dust, sparks and combustibles.
6. Run the wheel briefly without load while standing clear of the plane of rotation. Start with light pressure, a small contact area and short dwell, keeping the workpiece or wheel moving.
7. Check cut rate, pattern, temperature, gloss and substrate change in stages. Do not use heavy pressure to compensate for the wrong grade.
8. Stop immediately for abnormal vibration, damage, odor, overheating or a sharp performance drop. Wait for a complete stop and isolate energy before inspection or replacement.
