Brown Liquid Buffing Compound for Candidate Heavy Cutting and Metal Pre-Polishing
Brown Liquid Buffing Compound is intended for factories and finishers that require continuous compound delivery and repeatable batch polishing.
Recommended as a candidate for heavy cutting or pre-polishing of machining marks, oxidation and more visible surface defects; validate cut rate, deep-line risk and the transition to finishing.
The liquid format supports spray or centralized feeding and can reduce cycle variation caused by stopping for manual compound application.
The current product page does not publish a formula or technical specification, so factory and workpiece approval is required before final publication or production.
• The brown liquid appearance supports color-coded control of tanks, lines, spray guns, buffs and process stages.
• The category page confirms that the liquid-compound range can use water- or oil-based systems with different abrasives and grades; the exact system for this color remains to be confirmed.
• Weike’s color guide positions brown solid compound for aggressive cutting on steel, brass, copper and aluminum. The liquid version cannot inherit that formula and this is only a candidate direction.
• Candidate uses: trials on machining marks, oxidation and coarse pre-polishing of steel, brass, copper, aluminum and general metals. These are market-positioning recommendations and require validation on a matching substrate.
• Can be evaluated for pressure-pot, spray-gun or centralized delivery systems to support timed, metered application and reduce operator variation.• The category page states that sprayed liquid compound can help cool the buff edge, reduce cleanup time and improve batch consistency; actual results require formula- and equipment-specific testing.
• Sample-led development can cover the abrasive system, carrier, viscosity, solids, packaging, labeling and automatic-feed compatibility.
Product Certification
Brown Liquid Buffing Compound is listed as a separate color product, but its product page currently contains only the name, images and placeholder text. To avoid transferring another supplier’s color convention to this product, this draft positions it as an industrial liquid compound selected by workpiece, incoming defect and target surface. Recommended as a candidate for heavy cutting or pre-polishing of machining marks, oxidation and more visible surface defects; validate cut rate, deep-line risk and the transition to finishing.
Actual liquid-compound performance depends on the abrasive, grade, solids, carrier, viscosity, storage stability, adhesion to the buff, and pump/nozzle flow. Color helps shop-floor identification but does not by itself define cut, gloss, compatible materials or a water- versus oil-based system. Buyers should provide the substrate, incoming condition, target gloss, machine and delivery system so the factory can select or adjust the formulation.
For automated users, validate the compound, tank, pump, hose, nozzle, buff and cleaning method as one process. Record spray time, dose, wheel speed, contact pressure, temperature, residue and yield, then approve the production settings on a matching sample.

Features & Advantages
• Liquid feeding reduces stoppages for manual compound charging and supports continuous production.
• Timed, metered spraying helps reduce surface variation between operators.
• Recommended as a candidate for heavy cutting or pre-polishing of machining marks, oxidation and more visible surface defects; validate cut rate, deep-line risk and the transition to finishing.
• Water- or oil-based systems can be selected around cleaning, adhesion and production needs, but the carrier for this color is unconfirmed.
• Spraying can assist buff-edge cooling; any wheel-life improvement requires site validation.
• Process development can address pumpability, nozzle flow, storage stability and adhesion to the buff.
• Packaging, labeling, formulation and automatic-delivery projects can be discussed.
Applications
• Candidate uses: trials on machining marks, oxidation and coarse pre-polishing of steel, brass, copper, aluminum and general metals
• Robotic, rotary-index, flatbed and continuous batch-polishing lines
• Automotive, bathroom hardware, cookware, metal furniture, die-cast and decorative-part projects
• Lines seeking fewer manual charging stops and lower operator variation
• Polishing equipment using pressure pots, spray guns or centralized liquid delivery
• Surface-finishing projects that require water- or oil-based cleanup compatibility
• Industrial polishing distributors and OEM formulation or packaging programs
How to Use
1. Before listing or quoting, obtain the formula code, technical data sheet and SDS for this color. Confirm water- or oil-based carrier, abrasive, materials, stage, viscosity, solids, packaging and shelf life.
2. Collect the workpiece, defect, incoming grit, target gloss, adjacent steps, buff, machine speed, pump/pressure pot, hoses, nozzle and cleaning requirements.
3. Confirm compatibility with the tank, seals, pump, hose and nozzle. Do not add water or solvent or mix products without written factory approval.
4. Follow the technical data for agitation, recirculation and filtration to prevent settling, separation, agglomeration and nozzle blockage.
5. Check guarding, local exhaust/mist collection and interlocks. Wear the eye/face, respiratory, hand and hearing protection specified by the SDS.
6. Start with a low dose, short spray time and light contact pressure. Aim the nozzle at the working face, stand clear of the wheel plane and keep the workpiece moving.
7. Record dose, cut, gloss, temperature, sling, residue, cleaning time and yield, then adjust spray interval, pressure and buff parameters gradually.
8. Approve the process on a matching sample before production. Shut off liquid delivery and isolate machine energy before cleaning, clearing a nozzle or changing the buff.
