6-Inch Sisal Airway Buffing Wheel for Small Parts and Tight Areas

6-Inch Sisal Airway Buffing Wheel for Small Parts and Tight Areas is positioned for removal of light burrs and oxidation plus rough pre-polishing on small parts, edges and mold recesses.

It uses natural sisal cloth with a reinforced metal center in multi-layer sisal cloth formed into airway pleats to improve chip evacuation and heat dissipation.

It is intended for jewelry workshops, small-hardware plants, mold-maintenance shops and low-volume precision finishers, working mainly on jewelry, small stainless-steel components and aluminum parts.

Selection value: A compact detail-preparation wheel positioned around small diameter, reinforced hex center and access to tight areas.

• Size / model: 6 in / approximately 152 mm; confirm face width, bore and flange dimensions for the customer’s machine.

• Material & construction: natural sisal cloth with a reinforced metal center; multi-layer sisal cloth formed into airway pleats to improve chip evacuation and heat dissipation.

• Manufacturing: sisal layers are arranged evenly around the center to maintain continuous cutting contact and reduce heat buildup in extended work.

• Performance / process stage: removal of light burrs and oxidation plus rough pre-polishing on small parts, edges and mold recesses. Recommended pairing: select a coarse- or medium-cut compound for the metal, defect level and target texture; verify the combination on a sample part.

• Surface fit: small hardware, tube edges, mold recesses and irregular details. Operating tip: use the small diameter to control the contact area, work edges and recesses in short light-to-medium passes, and prevent tool wobble.

• Suitable materials: jewelry, small stainless-steel components and aluminum parts.

• Supply options: Samples and wholesale orders are available. Diameter, face width, ply/pleat construction, center plate and bore can be discussed for customization. Neutral packaging, custom logos, MOQ and OEM/ODM service are subject to the formal quotation.

This 6-Inch Sisal Airway Buffing Wheel uses natural sisal cloth with a reinforced metal center in multi-layer sisal cloth formed into airway pleats to improve chip evacuation and heat dissipation. sisal layers are arranged evenly around the center to maintain continuous cutting contact and reduce heat buildup in extended work.

It is designed for removal of light burrs and oxidation plus rough pre-polishing on small parts, edges and mold recesses and suits small hardware, tube edges, mold recesses and irregular details. Typical materials include jewelry, small stainless-steel components and aluminum parts. Compound guidance: select a coarse- or medium-cut compound for the metal, defect level and target texture; verify the combination on a sample part.

For jewelry workshops, small-hardware plants, mold-maintenance shops and low-volume precision finishers, the core value is clear: A compact detail-preparation wheel positioned around small diameter, reinforced hex center and access to tight areas. Selection note: The compact size improves detail access but limits coverage; it is not intended for high-output work on large panels or heavy welds.

Features & Advantages

• Material & treatment: natural sisal cloth with a reinforced metal center; natural sisal construction with moderate cutting action.

• Construction benefit: multi-layer sisal cloth formed into airway pleats to improve chip evacuation and heat dissipation; sisal layers are arranged evenly around the center to maintain continuous cutting contact and reduce heat buildup in extended work.

• Process value: designed for removal of light burrs and oxidation plus rough pre-polishing on small parts, edges and mold recesses.

• Surface fit: small hardware, tube edges, mold recesses and irregular details.

• Buyer benefit: A compact detail-preparation wheel positioned around small diameter, reinforced hex center and access to tight areas.

Applications

• Light deburring of small stainless-steel parts

• Preparation of aluminum edges and tube ends

• Localized rough buffing in mold recesses and irregular details

• Small-batch finishing of jewelry and small hardware

How to Use

1. Inspect the wheel, center plate and cloth layers. Confirm the 6 in / approximately 152 mm diameter, actual face width, bore and rated speed against the machine.

2. Mount with the correct flanges and guarding. During the no-load test, stand clear of the plane of rotation and stop immediately for wobble, abnormal vibration or damage.

3. Dedicate wheels to different metals and compounds where possible. select a coarse- or medium-cut compound for the metal, defect level and target texture; verify the combination on a sample part.

4. Operating technique: use the small diameter to control the contact area, work edges and recesses in short light-to-medium passes, and prevent tool wobble.

5. Maintain overlapping passes and control heat. Do not substitute excessive pressure for correct preparation or the correct compound.

6. Wear suitable eye/face protection, gloves and work clothing, and provide effective local dust extraction. Clean or dress the face after shutdown; do not reuse a damp, loose or damaged wheel.
