14-Inch White Hard Cotton Airway Buffing Wheel for Stainless Steel and Metal Polishing

• Size / model: 14 in / approximately 356 mm; confirm face width, bore and flange dimensions for the customer’s machine.

• Material & construction: white medium-firm cotton cloth; folded cotton cloth creates open airways that balance edge contact, structural support and cooling.

• Manufacturing: folded cloth layers are secured evenly to the center structure; the airways help dissipate heat and reduce wheel overheating during continuous work.

• Performance / process stage: intermediate polishing after rough cutting and base preparation before mirror finishing. Recommended pairing: choose a cutting, intermediate or finishing compound for the process; dedicate separate wheels to different metals and compounds.

• Surface fit: flats, curves and standard contours on kitchen, bathroom and decorative hardware. Operating tip: use medium-to-light pressure to remove rough-buff marks, then reduce pressure and overlap passes to prepare an even base for a soft white finishing wheel.

• Suitable materials: stainless steel and general decorative metal hardware.

• Supply options: Samples and wholesale orders are available. Diameter, face width, ply/pleat construction, center plate and bore can be discussed for customization. Neutral packaging, custom logos, MOQ and OEM/ODM service are subject to the formal quotation.

This 14-inch White Folded Hard Cloth Airway Buffing Wheel uses white medium-firm cotton cloth in folded cotton cloth creates open airways that balance edge contact, structural support and cooling. folded cloth layers are secured evenly to the center structure; the airways help dissipate heat and reduce wheel overheating during continuous work.

It is designed for intermediate polishing after rough cutting and base preparation before mirror finishing and suits flats, curves and standard contours on kitchen, bathroom and decorative hardware. Typical materials include stainless steel and general decorative metal hardware. Compound guidance: choose a cutting, intermediate or finishing compound for the process; dedicate separate wheels to different metals and compounds.

For kitchen/bath hardware makers, decorative-hardware plants and intermediate stations reducing rough-buff marks, the core value is clear: Combines a clean white face with medium firmness for buyers concerned with contamination risk, contouring and pre-mirror surface quality. Selection note: This is an intermediate wheel; severe welds require a blue hard wheel first, and the highest mirror gloss requires a white soft wheel afterward.

How to Use

1. Inspect the wheel, center plate and cloth layers. Confirm the 14 in / approximately 356 mm diameter, actual face width, bore and rated speed against the machine.

2. Mount with the correct flanges and guarding. During the no-load test, stand clear of the plane of rotation and stop immediately for wobble, abnormal vibration or damage.

3. Dedicate wheels to different metals and compounds where possible. choose a cutting, intermediate or finishing compound for the process; dedicate separate wheels to different metals and compounds.

4. Operating technique: use medium-to-light pressure to remove rough-buff marks, then reduce pressure and overlap passes to prepare an even base for a soft white finishing wheel.

5. Maintain overlapping passes and control heat. Do not substitute excessive pressure for correct preparation or the correct compound.

6. Wear suitable eye/face protection, gloves and work clothing, and provide effective local dust extraction. Clean or dress the face after shutdown; do not reuse a damp, loose or damaged wheel.
