12-Inch Blue Mill-Treated Folded Airway Buff for Stainless Steel Rough Polishing
12-Inch Blue Mill-Treated Folded Airway Buff for Stainless Steel Rough Polishing is positioned for initial rough polishing of scratches, burrs and oxide on stainless steel.
It uses blue mill-treated hard cotton cloth in folded cotton cloth creates open airways that balance edge contact, structural support and cooling.
It is intended for stainless-hardware factories, metal-preparation shops and standard rough-buffing stations, working mainly on stainless steel and general metal hardware.
Selection value: A standard 12-inch hard-cloth roughing option emphasizing toothed-bore retention, airflow and production durability.
• Size / model: 12 in / approximately 305 mm; confirm face width, bore and flange dimensions for the customer’s machine.
• Material & construction: blue mill-treated hard cotton cloth; folded cotton cloth creates open airways that balance edge contact, structural support and cooling.
• Manufacturing: folded cloth layers are secured evenly to the center structure; the airways help dissipate heat and reduce wheel overheating during continuous work.
• Performance / process stage: initial rough polishing of scratches, burrs and oxide on stainless steel. Recommended pairing: choose a cutting, intermediate or finishing compound for the process; dedicate separate wheels to different metals and compounds.
• Surface fit: flat faces, edges and standard hardware contours. Operating tip: begin with a light test cut, increase contact gradually and use overlapping passes in one direction while allowing cooling.
• Suitable materials: stainless steel and general metal hardware.
• Supply options: Samples and wholesale orders are available. Diameter, face width, ply/pleat construction, center plate and bore can be discussed for customization. Neutral packaging, custom logos, MOQ and OEM/ODM service are subject to the formal quotation.

This 12-inch Blue Foldable Mill-Treated Hard Airway Buffing Wheel uses blue mill-treated hard cotton cloth in folded cotton cloth creates open airways that balance edge contact, structural support and cooling. folded cloth layers are secured evenly to the center structure; the airways help dissipate heat and reduce wheel overheating during continuous work.
It is designed for initial rough polishing of scratches, burrs and oxide on stainless steel and suits flat faces, edges and standard hardware contours. Typical materials include stainless steel and general metal hardware. Compound guidance: choose a cutting, intermediate or finishing compound for the process; dedicate separate wheels to different metals and compounds.
For stainless-hardware factories, metal-preparation shops and standard rough-buffing stations, the core value is clear: A standard 12-inch hard-cloth roughing option emphasizing toothed-bore retention, airflow and production durability. Selection note: The hard cloth is intended for rough work and may leave pronounced marks on soft or delicate surfaces; change to a softer wheel for finishing.

• Batch processing at general industrial buffing stations
How to Use
1. Inspect the wheel, center plate and cloth layers. Confirm the 12 in / approximately 305 mm diameter, actual face width, bore and rated speed against the machine.
2. Mount with the correct flanges and guarding. During the no-load test, stand clear of the plane of rotation and stop immediately for wobble, abnormal vibration or damage.
3. Dedicate wheels to different metals and compounds where possible. choose a cutting, intermediate or finishing compound for the process; dedicate separate wheels to different metals and compounds.
4. Operating technique: begin with a light test cut, increase contact gradually and use overlapping passes in one direction while allowing cooling.
5. Maintain overlapping passes and control heat. Do not substitute excessive pressure for correct preparation or the correct compound.
6. Wear suitable eye/face protection, gloves and work clothing, and provide effective local dust extraction. Clean or dress the face after shutdown; do not reuse a damp, loose or damaged wheel.
