12-Inch High-Density White Wool Felt Polishing Wheel for Mirror Finishing Metals, Glass and Contoured Parts

This 12-inch white wool felt polishing wheel is made from thick, pure white, high-quality wool.
Layered assembly, heat setting and precision stitching create a dense yet resilient polishing face.

Each wheel is dynamically balanced before shipment to support smooth, low-vibration running within the machine and wheel limits.

Its conformable face follows flat, curved and irregular areas for uniform brightening and mirror finishing with a suitable polishing compound.

• 12-inch high-density wool felt face for continuous fine polishing of medium and large parts.

• Thick, pure white, high-quality wool provides a uniform working face for final brightening.

• Layered assembly, heat setting and precision stitching combine wheel density with resilient contact.

• Every wheel is dynamically balanced before shipment to help reduce abnormal runout and improve operating smoothness.

• Conforms to flat, curved, uneven and irregular edge areas for more uniform contact and gloss.

• Suitable for fine polishing stainless steel, aluminum and copper alloys, zinc-alloy castings, automotive parts, jewelry, molds, furniture finishes, glass and bathroom hardware.

• Supports manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic equipment with custom dimensions and bore. Neutral packaging, custom logos and direct overseas shipping are available; confirm samples, MOQ, face width, exact bore and maximum speed before quotation.

Product Certification

This 100% white wool felt polishing wheel is positioned for final polishing and high-gloss finishing after the preceding grinding and scratch-removal stages. It is not intended for heavy stock removal or deep-scratch correction. Thick pure wool is layered, heat-set and precision-stitched into a dense yet resilient wheel face, while dynamic balancing supports smooth operation when the wheel is correctly mounted and used within equipment limits.

The conformable felt follows flat surfaces, contours and irregular edges, making it suitable for appearance-critical metal, glass and decorative components. Paired with a polishing compound selected for the workpiece and target finish, it can provide uniform brightening and mirror finishing on stainless steel, aluminum and copper alloys, zinc-alloy castings, automotive parts, jewelry, molds, bathroom hardware and furniture finishes.

For factories, contract polishers and distributors, the central value proposition is high-density wool, contour conformity, dynamic balance and customizable mounting dimensions. Do not invent face width, hardness grade, bore, flange, maximum speed or compound grade; confirm them from machine data, the old wheel and actual polishing trials.

How to Use

1. Confirm diameter, face width, bore/shoulder, flanges, rotation and permitted speed from the machine plate/manual or the old wheel. Do not mount an unconfirmed wheel.

2. Stop the machine and isolate energy. Inspect the wool layers, stitching and center hole for moisture, looseness, deformation or shipping damage.

3. Mount the wheel according to the machine instructions, restore guarding and local exhaust, and perform a jog or low-speed no-load test while standing clear of the plane of rotation. Stop immediately for runout or abnormal vibration.

4. Select a polishing compound for the workpiece and target finish. When changing compound grades, use a new or thoroughly cleaned dedicated wheel to prevent abrasive cross-contamination.

5. Apply compound sparingly and evenly. Excess compound can saturate the face, cause slipping or heat buildup, and reduce polishing efficiency.

6. Begin at lower speed and light contact pressure, then adjust gradually without exceeding the wheel marking or machine limit. Keep the workpiece moving to avoid overheating or rounding edges.

7. Validate scratch removal, gloss, temperature, edge retention and residue on a matching sample before locking the production process. Fully stop and isolate energy before cleaning, dressing or replacing the wheel.
