10-Inch Red Treated Sisal Airway Buffing Wheel for Heavy Stainless Cutting
10-Inch Red Treated Sisal Airway Buffing Wheel for Heavy Stainless Cutting is positioned for first-stage coarse satin finishing, weld removal and oxide removal on stainless steel and metal parts.
It uses red sisal fiber with hardening and oil-impregnation treatment in multi-layer sisal cloth formed into airway pleats to improve chip evacuation and heat dissipation.
It is intended for stainless-product factories, welded-part fabricators and heavy metal-preparation lines, working mainly on stainless steel and general metal workpieces.
Selection value: A rough-processing wheel positioned around hardened oil-treated sisal, hex-bore retention and aggressive first-stage defect removal.
• Size / model: 10 in / approximately 254 mm; confirm face width, bore and flange dimensions for the customer’s machine.
• Material & construction: red sisal fiber with hardening and oil-impregnation treatment; multi-layer sisal cloth formed into airway pleats to improve chip evacuation and heat dissipation.

Product Certification
This 10-Inch Red Treated Sisal Airway Buffing Wheel uses red sisal fiber with hardening and oil-impregnation treatment in multi-layer sisal cloth formed into airway pleats to improve chip evacuation and heat dissipation. sisal layers are arranged evenly around the center to maintain continuous cutting contact and reduce heat buildup in extended work.
It is designed for first-stage coarse satin finishing, weld removal and oxide removal on stainless steel and metal parts and suits flat parts, tubing and standard contours; work deep weld areas in controlled passes. Typical materials include stainless steel and general metal workpieces. Compound guidance: select a coarse- or medium-cut compound for the metal, defect level and target texture; verify the combination on a sample part.
For stainless-product factories, welded-part fabricators and heavy metal-preparation lines, the core value is clear: A rough-processing wheel positioned around hardened oil-treated sisal, hex-bore retention and aggressive first-stage defect removal. Selection note: Its aggressive cut is unsuitable for thin soft metals or final mirror work; follow with softer sisal or cotton buffs.

• Higher-pressure factory work where a basic loose wheel may deform.
• General-purpose stock for contract polishing and hardware production.
How to Use
1. Inspect the wheel, center plate and cloth layers. Confirm the 10 in / approximately 254 mm diameter, actual face width, bore and rated speed against the machine.
2. Mount with the correct flanges and guarding. During the no-load test, stand clear of the plane of rotation and stop immediately for wobble, abnormal vibration or damage.
3. Dedicate wheels to different metals and compounds where possible. select a coarse- or medium-cut compound for the metal, defect level and target texture; verify the combination on a sample part.
4. Operating technique: start with a low-pressure test cut, remove welds, deep scratches and oxide in stages, and keep the work moving to control heat.
5. Maintain overlapping passes and control heat. Do not substitute excessive pressure for correct preparation or the correct compound.
6. Wear suitable eye/face protection, gloves and work clothing, and provide effective local dust extraction. Clean or dress the face after shutdown; do not reuse a damp, loose or damaged wheel.
