14-Inch Reinforced Thick Cotton Polishing Wheel
A thick 14-inch white cotton polishing wheel with square leather panels and rivet reinforcement at the center.
The strengthened hub spreads pressure more evenly, while the thick cotton pack combines useful firmness with a soft finishing action.
It is positioned for hardware plants that need one durable wheel for intermediate polishing and final gloss on larger metal parts.
• Size / model: 14 in / approximately 356 mm; confirm wheel width and center-hole dimensions for the customer’s machine.
• Material & construction: thick multi-layer white cotton with square leather and metal-rivet reinforcement; reinforced, thickened loose-form cotton wheel.
• Manufacturing: square leather panels and rivets reinforce the center and distribute grinding pressure.
• Performance / process stage: intermediate polishing through final mirror brightening. Recommended compound: medium or fine compound selected according to the starting scratch level.
• Surface fit: large flat, broad and standard-profile metal parts. Use controlled pressure, allow the thick face to do the work and switch to fine compound for the last brightening passes.
• Suitable materials: stainless steel and general metal hardware.
• Supply options: samples and wholesale orders; custom diameter, thickness and stitching are available by enquiry. Neutral packaging, custom logo printing and OEM/ODM support can be discussed before quotation.
Product Certification
The 14-inch reinforced thick cotton wheel is designed for factories that apply more pressure than a basic soft cloth wheel can comfortably handle. Leather reinforcement panels and rivets support the center so force is distributed more evenly and the wheel is less likely to deform or split at the hub.
Its thick cotton pack delivers a useful compromise: enough firmness to refine light machining marks, yet enough softness to improve gloss. This allows many standard hardware parts to move from intermediate polishing to final brightening without changing to a completely different wheel construction.
For purchasing teams, the value proposition is versatility and reduced downtime. It is especially relevant to plants polishing larger metal parts in repeat batches, provided the bore, width, machine speed and required finish are confirmed during quotation.
Application boundary: For heavy scale, welds or deep stamping marks, complete a dedicated coarse-grinding step before using this cotton wheel.

Features & Advantages
• Leather-panel and rivet reinforcement distributes pressure around the hub.
• Thick cotton pack combines support, contact area and finishing softness.
• Can cover intermediate and final polishing on suitably prepared parts.
• Durable structure is practical for factory inventory and repeat production.
Applications
• Intermediate and final polishing of large stainless hardware.
• Brightening of broad metal housings, covers and decorative components.
• Higher-pressure factory work where a basic loose wheel may deform.
• General-purpose stock for contract polishing and hardware production.
How to Use
1. Inspect the wheel before use and confirm the diameter, bore, width and rated speed match the machine.
2. Mount it with the correct flanges and guarding; run the wheel without load while standing clear of its plane.
3. Keep a dedicated wheel for each compound and material family to prevent cross-contamination.
4. Apply medium or fine compound selected according to the starting scratch level sparingly and refresh it only when cutting or gloss begins to fall.
5. Use controlled pressure, allow the thick face to do the work and switch to fine compound for the last brightening passes.
6. Use trained operators, eye and face protection, suitable respiratory protection and effective local dust extraction. Stop if vibration, damage or unusual heat appears.
