14-Inch Rivet-Center White Cotton Polishing Wheel
A 14-inch soft white cotton polishing wheel with a metal-rivet center designed to resist bore slippage and layer separation.
The reinforced hub improves reliability during prolonged operation while the outer cotton face produces a clean, mirror-like finish.
It suits small and medium hardware factories that need final polishing with stronger center retention than a basic round-hole wheel.
• Size / model: 14 in / approximately 356 mm; confirm wheel width and center-hole dimensions for the customer’s machine.
• Material & construction: soft white multi-layer cotton with metal center reinforcement; loose cotton face with a rivet-secured center.
• Manufacturing: the inner area is mechanically gripped by metal rivets to reduce slippage, misalignment and delamination.
• Performance / process stage: final polishing and mirror brightening. Recommended compound: a fine finishing compound selected for the target metal.
• Surface fit: small and medium flat or gently contoured hardware. Mount the reinforced center squarely, apply compound sparingly and polish with light-to-moderate pressure.
• Suitable materials: stainless steel and common polished metal hardware.
• Supply options: samples and wholesale orders; custom diameter, thickness and stitching are available by enquiry. Neutral packaging, custom logo printing and OEM/ODM support can be discussed before quotation.
Product Description
This 14-inch white cotton polishing wheel adds a mechanically reinforced center to the soft finishing characteristics of a conventional cloth wheel. The rivets secure the inner layers, helping reduce bore slippage, wheel misalignment and separation during longer production runs.
The outer cotton remains soft, so the wheel is aimed at clean final brightening rather than heavy material removal. Its medium diameter gives operators more control than an 18-inch wheel while still covering small and medium hardware efficiently.
The product is a good fit for hardware plants and contract polishers that have experienced premature hub failure with standard round-hole buffs. Buyers should provide bore, width, machine speed and flange details so the wheel can be matched correctly before production.
Application boundary: The strengthened center improves retention but does not replace correct flanges, guarding, machine matching or operator inspection.

Features & Advantages
• Metal-rivet center helps prevent inner-hole slippage and layer separation.
• Soft white cotton supports a clear final mirror finish.
• 14-inch format balances operator control and useful polishing coverage.
• Longer center retention can reduce interruptions in repeat production.
Applications
• Final polishing of small and medium stainless steel hardware.
• Brightening of bathroom fittings, handles and decorative metal components.
• Production lines where ordinary wheel centers tend to slip or separate.
• Manual and semi-automatic final finishing with matched 14-inch equipment.
How to Use
1. Inspect the wheel before use and confirm the diameter, bore, width and rated speed match the machine.
2. Mount it with the correct flanges and guarding; run the wheel without load while standing clear of its plane.
3. Keep a dedicated wheel for each compound and material family to prevent cross-contamination.
4. Apply a fine finishing compound selected for the target metal sparingly and refresh it only when cutting or gloss begins to fall.
5. Mount the reinforced center squarely, apply compound sparingly and polish with light-to-moderate pressure.
6. Use trained operators, eye and face protection, suitable respiratory protection and effective local dust extraction. Stop if vibration, damage or unusual heat appears.
