12-Inch White Treated Spiral Sewn Airway Cotton Buffing Wheel for Stainless Steel Mirror Polishing
A lightly hardened 12-inch airway-style cotton buffing wheel developed for continuous stainless steel production.
Its construction is intended to reduce heat-related blackening and scorching while maintaining useful polishing capacity during long operating cycles.
Use it with purple compound for transition polishing and white compound for final mirror brightening.
• Size / model: 12 in / approximately 305 mm; confirm wheel width and center-hole dimensions for the customer’s machine.
• Material & construction: lightly hardened white cotton cloth; spiral-sewn airway-style cotton buffing construction.
• Manufacturing: treated cotton and the airway-style construction support heat management during extended production.
• Performance / process stage: transition polishing through mirror brightening. Recommended compound: purple compound for transition polishing and white compound for mirror brightening.
• Surface fit: flat and broad stainless steel production parts. Keep the wheel and extraction system clear, use the appropriate compound for each stage and monitor part temperature during continuous runs.
• Suitable materials: stainless steel hardware and compatible metal components.
• Supply options: samples and wholesale orders; custom diameter, thickness and stitching are available by enquiry. Neutral packaging, custom logo printing and OEM/ODM support can be discussed before quotation.
Product Certification
The 12-inch white treated airway cotton wheel is designed for production cells where heat and uptime are central concerns. The lightly hardened cloth provides more working strength than an untreated final buff, while the airway-style construction is positioned to reduce blackening or scorching during prolonged polishing.
It can serve two adjacent stages on stainless steel lines: purple compound for transition polishing and white compound for final brightening. This is useful for cookware, hardware and decorative-component plants that run automatic or large vertical machines for long shifts.
The wheel should be marketed on process stability, heat control and continuous-production suitability rather than on aggressive defect removal. Before bulk supply, confirm the machine, bore, width, rated speed, compound and required surface standard.
Application boundary: Machine fit, wheel width, bore and maximum operating speed must be confirmed before 24-hour or high-pressure use.

Features & Advantages
• Airway-style construction supports heat management during long production runs.
• Light hardening improves capacity compared with fully untreated white cotton.
• Works across transition polishing and final brightening with different compounds.
• 12-inch format fits compatible automatic and large vertical equipment.
Applications
• Continuous polishing of stainless steel cookware and hardware.
• Transition and mirror polishing on automatic production lines.
• Brightening of decorative stainless components where heat marks must be controlled.
• Long-shift factory operations using 12-inch polishing equipment.
How to Use
1. Inspect the wheel before use and confirm the diameter, bore, width and rated speed match the machine.
2. Mount it with the correct flanges and guarding; run the wheel without load while standing clear of its plane.
3. Keep a dedicated wheel for each compound and material family to prevent cross-contamination.
4. Apply purple compound for transition polishing and white compound for mirror brightening sparingly and refresh it only when cutting or gloss begins to fall.
5. Keep the wheel and extraction system clear, use the appropriate compound for each stage and monitor part temperature during continuous runs.
6. Use trained operators, eye and face protection, suitable respiratory protection and effective local dust extraction. Stop if vibration, damage or unusual heat appears.
